About ZeoSure
Live Better with ZeoSure
100% Natural & Organic ZeoSure is the new standard in zeolite health supplements. People conscious of their health and digestive well-being recognize zeolites for their revolutionary ability to remove heavy metals, radiation and other harmful toxins from the body.
Zeolite’s unique honeycomb structure and negative electrical charge draws molecules of harmful substances in the bloodstream and flush them from the body in 7-24 hours. ZeoSure supplements contain 97.4% pure clinoptilolite zeolite and naturally activated by micronization to increase absorption of the supplement into the bloodstream, making it the safest, best zeolite supplement available.
ZeoSure is ideal for chelation therapies, radiation removal, digestive disorders and high stomach acidity.
The Science of Zeolites
Zeolites are a group of natural minerals formed by the movement of salt water through deposits of volcanic ash rich in silicon and aluminum. The porous crystalline structure of zeolites leaves large internal cavities that can comprise up to half of its volume. Zeolites possess abundant surface area, enabling its molecules to capture and absorb heavy metals, gasses, petrochemicals, and radioactive elements.
Zeolites are also some of very few negatively charged minerals that occur in nature. They are composed of silica – electrically neutral – and alumina – which is negatively charged.
Zeolites are classified as “molecular sieves” because they can exchange cations – positively charged molecules – from the outside environment without affecting their structure. This versatile property make zeolites ideal for many applications, including chelation therapies (removing heavy metals from the blood), water purification, growth promotion in livestock, and decontamination of radioactive waste.
Romans were the first to employ zeolites more than 2000 years ago, using them as a purifying component of their aqueducts. Swedish mineralogist Axel Cronstedt coined the name “zeolite,” from “boiling stone” in ancient Greek, in the 18th century when he discovered the mineral’s ability to absorb material and “boil” it off when heated later.
The Benefits of Zeolite
Several forms of zeolite were utilized industrially to remove ammonia and radioactivity in wastewater in the 1970s. There are approximately fifty forms of zeolite known to occur naturally and another one hundred and fifty which are produced synthetically for specific industrial and commercial applications. Clinoptilolite, a highly pure form of zeolite, was introduced to health care and agriculture to promote nutrient absorption and detoxification.
Zeolite has been demonstrated to have many human health benefits. It is used to treat a variety of digestive disorders, including diarrhea and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). As a heavy metal absorber, it traps arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. It also captures mycotoxins, a class of toxic molds, and aflatoxins, fungus-related compounds potentially related to cancer. It can be used to remove radioactive waste in the human body as well as domestic and industrial settings, all through the process of cationic exchange.
ZeoSure is an ideal companion to the human omnivore’s diet. Clinoptilolite is indicated to balance pH for high stomach acid, common in high-protein diets. The mineral is also a good pairing with vegetables and grain, often high in heavy metals that rise to toxic levels over time. Many private and municipal water systems include forms of lead and arsenic, which may be captured by clinoptilolite in ZeoSure.
The Difference of ZeoSure
Clinoptilolite, with a stable ratio of four silica to one alumina molecule, is one of the best zeolites for human consumption. With its cage-like structure and numerous pores, the mineral is ideal for cationic exchange. Carrying a negative electrical charge, clinoptilolite attracts positively charged metals, free radicals and other harmful substances, trapping them inside to be carried out of the body through excretion. 70% of clinoptilolite leaves the body in urine within seven hours; the remainder leaves in feces within 24 hours.
A deposit of clinoptilolite in southwest Texas, near the town of Marfa, is 97.4% pure with the remainder of the substance being inert silica, making it some of the purest available zeolite. Marfa clinoptilolite features a very high cationic exchange capacity, especially for a mineral substance. Clinoptilolite mined in other locations often contains additional impurities that compromise its efficacy as a supplement. ZeoSure supplements exclusively contain clinptilolite from the deposit near Marfa, TX.
ZeoSure’s clinoptilolite is micronized – not milled – to a particle size of 5 microns, to allow for 95% of the material to pass through the intestinal wall to the bloodstream and initiate cation exchange in the blood. Many other zeolite supplements are milled but not micronized, leaving larger grains and reducing the digestive tract’s ability to absorb it. Milling grinds clinoptilolite into powder, which can crush the crystalline structure of the molecules so they are not absorbed by the digestive system.
The Research on Zeolite
Zeolites created scientific interest in the 1950s as “molecular sieves” were needed to fight heavy metal and radioactive pollutants. Most recently, an acclaimed paper presented at the National Academy of Sciences in 1998 outlined zeolites’ uses in agriculture, industry and the health of humans and animals alike.
A patent was filed in 2005 including zeolite – specifically clinoptilolite – as a treatment for the hangover effect of alcohol, diarrhea, heartburn, gastrointestinal disease, toxic poisoning, and the common cold. Another patent was filed in 2009 for zeolite activated by micronization as a pharmaceutical agent reducing heavy metal toxicity.
The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) has classified clinoptilolite’s molecular structure as “generally regarded as safe.” Clinoptilolite has shown to be an effective detoxifier of contaminated water, and synthetic zeolites similar to clinoptilolite have been successfully used to remove arsenic from wastewater as well. It also prevented lead-induced toxicity in mice.
Inside humans, the mineral proved effective in a double-blind study to increase heavy metal excretion through urine. A comparative study of zeolite powder capsules, liquid drop suspension, and liquid spray suspension concluded that powder capsules similar to ZeoSure are most effective in increasing urinary excretion of toxic heavy metals including lead, mercury, arsenic, and cadmium.
Commercial products composed of natural clinoptilolite from Cuba have shown to be effective antacids and anti-diarrheal agents.
A 2015 research review of clinoptilolite showed a trend of improved blood chemistry and antioxidant results in humans – as well as better fitness, low radioactivity and decreased toxicity among pets.
